After the Canton Fair(Autumn ), we once again encountered the well-known scooter manufacturer from Taizhou, China—ZNEN, at the 2023 EICMA exhibition. In addition to showcasing their traditional gasoline scooters, ZNEN also unveiled their electric scooter brand, FRANK, bringing a plethora of new products to the European market.
Having focused extensively on international markets over the years, ZNEN’s scooters and mopeds have consistently been favored by customers and consumers in the European and American markets. At this exhibition, ZNEN’s ADV sports scooters, electric scooters, retro electric bicycles, and various other product series garnered widespread attention.
During the exhibition, Mr. Yang, the General Manager of Zhongneng Import and Export Co., Ltd., shared his insights on the European market in recent years. He stated that in the past few years, the European market for gasoline motorcycles experienced a significant decline due to factors such as the three-year pandemic, the Russo-Ukrainian War, and the substitution effect of electric vehicles. However, the markets are recovering in terms of the situation of this year in some countries including Denmark, France, Germany and so on, from Northern Europe to Central Europe and Southern Europe. In addition, gasoline engines are reviving. Electric vehicles have a promising future although they are faced with difficult in the process of development, and the gasoline engine has a large room for improvement.
ZNEN positions itself in the high-end market for both gasoline motorcycles and e-vehicles, emphasizing high-quality products and superior service. It has long been a flagship in the field of scooters in Taizhou, China. With the market gradually recovering, ZNEN is expected to establish collaborations with more overseas premium customers, enabling a broader audience to experience high-quality products from China.
